Look at the expense section of your profit and loss statement, and most likely you will find employees are the largest expense you have. Unfortunately, it is one of the most difficult areas to manage. Our speaker today understands this concern as he has spent over 25 years in the family business. To reverse an old saying, “he has walked the walk, and today he is here to talk the talk.”

Tom will be sharing with us the detailed steps he used to create a team of quality sales people and support staff within his retail business. He promises our time together will be filled with the “meat and potatoes” of how to get the employee team working together.

Today, you and I are a team. The better job YOU do, the better job I will be able to do for your event. You have the opportunity to set the stage and tell the audience what to expect from me. I want them to enjoy themselves as well as receive information to help them increase their business.

1. Practice this several times.
2. Avoid saying things like, "I am reading it just like he wrote it."
3. Don't add anything without discussing it with me first.
4. Show the level of excitement in your introduction that you hope the audience will have for the presentation.
