How to make an intro & outro You Tube slide graphic

Want to make your You Tube video a bit fancier. These instructions will explain how to create slides that you can put at the beginning or end of a You Tube video. These slides are used to provide the name of your video as well as provide contact information about your business.

  1. You can use any graphics program you want from Paint to Photoshop. All Windows users have Paint so we will use that.
  2. Open up a new document in Paint.
  3. Click on the Text tool. Drag the tool across the canvas to make a large text box. Type in whatever text you want to be in the intro or outro slide. I would put the title, your company name, and your website on at least the Intro.
  4. Make sure your text is a large enough font to be read easily (about 36 is good). To change it select Text Toolbar from the View menu and choose your font and size.
  5. Save the image as a graphic file. Any basic image format should work (.jpg, .gif, .png).

Along with this instruction for creating an intro and outro slide for your You Tube video,we have three addition pages of instructions to help you with other parts of creating a You Tube video.
